Agripa was born in Guruve in 1981. He went to Nyanhunzi primary and secondary at Magaya. After his secondary he joined his uncle Leonard Chitanda in the art of stone sculpting. This then led to him joining the Sanganai art group. In Sangana he worked with several artists like Sango family, Forbes Suluyari, Orbert Marime and other artist from a town called Guruve in Zimbabwe. Agripa is working in Harare and has continued to expand his portfolio of art work across the globe. Agripa specialises on carving animals, in particular birds.
